Herban Cura [er-ban coor-uh] is a healing justice herbalism and ecology school that creates learning opportunities to restore relationships to land, ancestry, and cultural lifeways. Through their farm school and sanctuary, online knowledge shares, in-person immersions, and Community Supported Apothecary (CSA), their work cultivates place-based practices in support of political education through plants.

As Marketing Director and Filmmaker with Herban Cura, I lead the promotion and documentation of the organization’s offerings through documentary-driven storytelling that centers medicinal plants and the people who care for them. In collaboration with environmental justice advocate Antonia Estela Pérez, class participants, and community members, I independently produce docu-style campaigns for social media and online publication.
